Old: The Green Heart of Kraków - Enhancing Quality of Life for People and Nature

This panel illustrates how the old town of Krakow can be transformed into a more livable environment for both residents and nature through the introduction of diverse types of greenery adapted to different urban conditions. For example flexible solutions such as mobile greenery are proposed for plazas that host multiple functions, including cultural events and markets. The implementation plan presents the various green typologies, their locations, and possible design approaches. It also highlights the introduction of predominantly car-free street types.
