The project reorganizes the urban structure of Krakow by redirecting fast traffic to the outer ring road in order to relieve congestion in the city center. Three zones have been created: a car-free zone in the Old Town, a pedestrian priority zone within the old ring road, and a standard traffic zone inside the new ring road. The greenery system has been enriched with street plantings to compensate for the excess of private green areas. The detailed design of the Provincial Public Library creates a new open space, connecting a recreational park with an outdoor reading room.
