The project reorganizes Kraków’s urban structure by diverting high-speed traffic to an outer ring road to relieve the city center. Three zones were established: a car-free Old Town, a pedestrian-priority area within the old ring road, and a standard traffic zone inside the new ring road. The greenery system was enhanced with street plantings to address the prevalence of private green spaces. The detailed design at the Voivodeship Public Library creates a new open space, combining a recreational park with an outdoor reading room.
