Project 4 I Krakow I District of Debrik

The project is based on the concept of a car-free district that reconnects the Debnik area with the river and surrounding green spaces, which were previously separated by a major multi-lane road. To reduce the visual impact of cars, which negatively affect the appearance of the building façades, a parking structure was designed with access from the cross street. Additional buildings were placed along the perimeter to define and frame the district, while new green spaces were created between the residential buildings to enhance the overall quality of the area.
