The urban design strategy focuses on mobility and the connection of green spaces. Car traffic inside the district is strongly reduced, with mostly car-free streets and two new parking hubs. This creates a safe and pedestrian-friendly neighbourhood. A new school is located in the green center of the district and acts as a social and spatial focal point. The highway near the river is moved into a tunnel, which also allows a new metro line and a safe connection to the waterfront. The riverfront is transformed into an active public park with direct access for pedestrians and cyclists. New mixed-use buildings activate the area, with shops and restaurants on the ground floor and housing above. The project creates a lively, green, and well-connected neighbourhood.
