Bridges from both banks lead to the island in the middle of the river and facilitate the transition from one side to the other. No bridge is more than 800 meters away from the next, making it easy to cross the river. Where the river is divided into two smaller branches by an island, one of them remains accessible to ships and as infrastructure, while the other is cleaned by underwater devices that also generate energy. The cleaned, 50-meter-wide branches of the river are intended to be a place with a high quality of life. They cool in summer and, lined with public green spaces, invite swimming, paddling, and relaxing in an oasis near the city center, while con- necting the two banks of the river.
