The Utopia of the city is based on the prior analysis, specifically the discovery that most public spaces only attract people and generate movement within their districts. The city of Bordeaux lacks public space, that manages to bring people from all areas together. In harmony with the city's history, the utopia tries to achieve that by using the river as center and - with an intervention of appropriate scale - generating magnetic pull form all over the city of Bordeaux, like the river has done for thousands of years.

Analysis of the land use and the interaction of the fabrics. The larger scale focuses on the areas of influence of non-residential spaces while the smaller scale is more concerned with visual connections and pathways through homogenous fabrics.
